About Dr. Jacob Kent
Dr. Jake Kent DDS grew up in Southern California and was inspired to pursue dentistry after experiencing firsthand the impact a great dentist can have on someone’s life. As a child, he had several dentists who made a lasting impression on him through their mentorship, compassion, and ability to genuinely connect with patients. Those experiences helped shape the foundation for the kind of practice he wanted to build and the type of care he strives to provide every day.
Today, Dr. Kent is passionate about creating long-term relationships with the patients and families he serves. He believes dentistry should feel personal, not transactional. His approach centers around listening closely to each patient, understanding their goals and concerns, and building treatment plans that fit their lifestyle and needs. He values honest communication, comfort, and trust just as much as the clinical side of dentistry because he believes those elements are what truly change the patient experience.
One of Dr. Kent’s biggest goals is changing the way people feel about going to the dentist. He wants patients to feel like they have found an office that genuinely listens, takes time to get to know them, and cares about them beyond their dental treatment alone. That people-first philosophy is a major part of what makes the office different and why so many patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Outside the office, Dr. Kent enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, staying active with sports, and getting outdoors for camping trips and family adventures whenever possible.
Credentials
Dr. Kent completed his doctoral education and training at the renowned Loma Linda University, where he graduated with honors and developed a strong foundation in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Following completion of his Doctor of Dental Surgery training, he continued advancing his clinical education with additional training in implant dentistry through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Jake Kent strongly believes in the philosophy of lifelong learning and is committed to continually advancing his training and education to better serve his patients. He regularly pursues continuing education opportunities focused on improving patient experience, restorative care, cosmetic dentistry, and modern treatment techniques so he can continue delivering high-quality, comprehensive care.
He also maintains active affiliations with several respected professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. These affiliations reflect his ongoing commitment to clinical excellence, professional growth, and providing patients with modern, patient-centered dental care.
